Welcome to Elvetham Heath

Elvetham Heath is a thriving community, the hub of which is The Key: The Key Centre, The Church on the Heath, the village green, tennis courts, Morrisons supermarket and petrol station, Elvetham Heath Primary School, Elvetham Heath Day Nursery and, last but not least, The De Havilland Arms pub. These facilities are surrounded by landscaped grounds and a nature reserve, all easily accessible via an extensive network of cycle paths and footpaths. Construction of Elvetham Heath began in the summer of 1999 and it was designed to create an appealing environment in which a new community could grow.

The Elvetham Heath Parish Council formally came into existance on 1st April 2010 and is made up of seven residents of Elvetham Heath who volunteer as Parish Councillors. Before 2010, services were provided by Hart District Council

Noticeboard

  • No 7 Bus. Buses in Fleet are asking people to respond to a short survey on their website relating to the Number 7 Bus service. You can see the questions here and email Buses in Fleet via the same web page.

  • Hart District Council’s draft local plan, which  sets out local planning policies and identifies how land is used, determining what will be built where has not been published with responses required by 4pm on 26 March 2018. Read more here.

  • Elvetham Chase development update. The planning application for Pale Lane (Elvetham Chase) has been declined by Hart District Council. We will keep you updated if the planning application goes to appeal.

  • Key Centre/Parish Council office opening times: Parish Council staff are located in the Key Centre and office hours run daily from 9am to 1pm. Outside of these hours the Key Centre is closed to the general public and available for private hirers only. As there are no council staff on site, this is done for the safety and security of the private hirers, many of whom have children in their care, and for the security of the building itself.
