Welcome to Elvetham Heath Parish Council

Elvetham Heath is a thriving community, the hub of which is The Key: The Key Centre, The Church on the Heath, the village green, tennis courts, Morrisons supermarket and petrol station, Elvetham Heath Primary School, Elvetham Heath Day Nursery and, last but not least, The De Havilland Arms pub. These facilities are surrounded by landscaped grounds and a nature reserve, all easily accessible via an extensive network of cycle paths and footpaths. Construction of Elvetham Heath began in the summer of 1999 and it was designed to create an appealing environment in which a new community could grow.

The Elvetham Heath Parish Council formally came into existance on 1st April 2010 and is made up of seven residents of Elvetham Heath who volunteer as Parish Councillors. Before 2010, services were provided by Hart District Council

Noticeboard

  • Fencing around the Twyford Close Play area. Please be aware that the fencing for the play area at Twyford Close has been vandalised and is beyond repair in places. As a result the play area will not be fully enclosed until we can replace with a stronger metal fence.

  • Church Road Fleet closed from 27th September for roadworks: Carriageway resurfacing works will start on Church Road in Fleet from the Junction with Elvetham Road to the Junction with Lismoyne Close with the road closed from Wednesday 27th September. Read more.

  • Building Works at the M3 Services: Following the fire in December 2016 at the M3 Services, planning applications have been submitted to rebuild the service area. The application includes proposals to minimise the disruption to local residents. The intention is to open the new building before Easter 2018.

  • Key Centre/Parish Council office opening times: Parish Council staff are located in the Key Centre and office hours run daily from 9am to 1pm. Outside of these hours the Key Centre is closed to the general public and available for private hirers only. As there are no council staff on site, this is done for the safety and security of the private hirers, many of whom have children in their care, and for the security of the building itself.
