Heathrow is consulting on proposals for an expanded airport. The consultation, which is running from 18 June to 13 September 2019, is seeking feedback on:
- The preferred layout for the airport, including the location of the new runway, taxiways, terminals and other infrastructure.
- The preferred options for how to operate the airport in the future.
- How to manage and mitigate the effects of expansion, including property compensation and approaches to noise and air quality.
Your feedback will help to further refine proposals before an application is submitted for a Development Consent Order (DCO), planned for 2020.
This consultation is a statutory consultation being carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act 2008 and associated legislation and guidance. It is an important part of the planning process that applies to the Project.
