Stop It Dont Drop It

Hart District Council has introduced a new litter enforcement campaign to reduce littering and dog fouling across Hart so residents can take pride in their local communities. To do this Hart has employed the services of Environmental Enforcement Officers from East Hampshire District Council who can issue fines of £75 for anyone caught littering, including cigarette butts and chewing gum, and £50 for anyone failing to clean up after their dog.

You can report litter or dog fouling ‘hotspots’ to Hart District Council via their online reporting form.

Now the summer is here, the benches by the pond and the Village Green are great spots for a picnic. If you are out and about please remember to take your litter home with you or use one of the many bins near public areas to dispose of your rubbish.
